Where can I find a comprehensive specification of the TaBlE module?
My problem is that I want a paragraph environment in a column, but that
doesn't seem to exist/work. In tabulate you can use 'p' in the
template, and table doesn't complain when you use it but doesn't obide
by it either. Am I missing something, for

\starttable[|l|l|]
\NC Something \NC Long description ... \NC\AR
\stoptable

makes for a very wide table (that goes off the paper).

You need the printed manual for the TaBlE package, which will
suggest something alone the lines:

\starttable[|l|lp(120pt)|]
\NC Something \NC Long description ... \input tufte \NC\AR
\stoptable

Hi nicolai,

AFAIK there is no paragraph mechanism in de TaBlE environment. You might
want to try the bTABLE eTABLE environment.

Kind regards Willi

Hm, and this manual has to be ordered? No downloads?

Great. One problem however, what if you wan't all space not consumed by
the previous columns? Too much to ask?

No, and it's really expensive.
(Sort of dongle for the TaBlE package...)

see http://www.pctex.com/

There's a promotion at the moment! See
