I tested your sample-code with the minimals
This is LuaTeX, Version beta-0.50.0-2009122422
ConTeXt ver: 2010.01.11 14:57 MKIV fmt: 2010.1.11 int: english/
english
The outcome is to my knowledge correct See attachment.
