Dear Friends,
Installing a simple font under Context has been without results sofar.
Under latex I can generate a perfect ps file (with dvips), but I
recently found out that the dvi reader (Yap) cannot locate a tfm file
and fails to generate pk files, even when I generate the pk files and
put them in the appropriate places.
This may be the reason Context cannot generate correct dvi files nor pdf
files, but I am not sure of course. (Needless to say that I update
everytime with Miktex.)
I am now trying to install under Context a font that should work right
out of the box: bookman. This font I cannot get to work either. See
below the test file and the log file. The log file does give any error
message; it simply does not load bookman (see the line:
<J:\tex\texmf\fonts\type1\bluesky\cm\cmr10.pfb>). Under Latex I get
perfect dvi and pdf files.
Does anyone have a clue? My eventual goal is, of course, to learn how to
install a new font.
Kind regards,
Robert Ermers

in font-bfm, change the \dosetskewchar lines into:
\dosetskewchar\mifam\defaultskewcharmi
\dosetskewchar\syfam\defaultskewcharsy
(i added an 'fam' argument to \dosetskewchar some time ago, but didn't change
these lines for bold math)
