Hi Anand,

In recent threads a lot of possible struggles where discussed concerning 
  your question. However the following should work with a recent 
distribution:

Either:
\usetypescript [adobekb][\defaultencoding]
\setupbodyfont[pos]

Or:
\usetypescript[times][\defaultencoding]
\setupbodyfont[times,12pt]
