we already have (in enco-def):

\ifx\greeklamda\undefined \def\greeklamda{\greeklambda} \fi
\ifx\greekLamda\undefined \def\greekLamda{\greekLambda} \fi

and i've added:

\ifx\leftguillemet \undefined \def\leftguillemet {\leftguillemot } \fi
\ifx\rightguillemet\undefined \def\rightguillemet{\rightguillemot} \fi
