Only when I put the \taal[NH] at the beginning of the paragraph,=20 D=E9partement isn't hyphenated. Of course I can add \hyphenation{D=E9partement} in the environment, or us= e=20 \nohyphens{D=E9partement} (thanks, Hans), but it is too much work to do=20 this for all words in all citations and names.
