I have the same Problem, but f.i.:

\definetypeface [palatino] [rm] [serif] [palatino] [default] [encoding=ec]
\definetypeface [palatino] [mm] [math]  [palatino] [default] [encoding=ec]
\setupbodyfont  [palatino, 12pt, rm]

works and:

\usetypescript [lucida] [texnansi]
\setupbodyfont [lucida, 12pt, rm]

doesn't.

No error at texexec --make.
