If you need the solution: \rightaligned{\starttable[|l|l|] \HL \NC testxxx \NC test \NC\AR \NC test \NC testxxx \NC\AR \HL \stoptable} If you need the reason, why \setuptabulate[align=...] doesn't work, someone else has to answer it.
