Hi Hans,

Thanks for your reply. Still no success after placeing "import 
scite-ctx" into the Scite user file.

Yes quite so, because in the menu Option list there is an "open 
scite-ctx.properties"

Would be nice, however I have no clue where to look for such lists :-(
