\definetypeface[somesun][rm][serif][sunserif][default]
\definetypeface[somesun][ss][sans][sunsans][default]
\definetypeface[somesun][tt][mono][modern][default][rscale=.9]
\definetypeface[somesun][mm][math][modern][default][rscale=.9]
so, you don't need to define some fake sun mono
