Hallo!
The following:

\definepapersize [RM] [width=170mm,height=240mm]
\setuppapersize [RM] [A4]
\setuplayout [marking=on, location=middle]
\starttext
Bla
\stoptext
-------
results in 163mm width and 230mm height.
What is wrong here?
A second observation: file 'rm.tex' with
\startenvironment rm
...
\stopenvironment
is not found
in 'test.tex' with
\environment rm
...
renaming to 'whatever' helps
