Not here:

[taco@glenlivet tmp]$ mptopdf --latex mpfile.mp

MPtoPDF 1.3.2 : running 'texexec --mptex '
TeXExec | processing graphic 'mpfile.mp'
TeXExec | using internal mptotex converter
TeXExec | processing document 'mpfile-temp.tex'
TeXExec | no ctx file found
TeXExec | tex processing method: context
...

ends in the same error (context complaining about \documentclass)
