I am using Scite on Windows to edit and build my documents. The most
annoying behaviour is that when I press F7 to build the document the
"texexec --pdf --autopdf" command that it executes closes ALL open pdf
documents. So that I have to keep re-opening everything :-(
Is there a way to build which just closes the document you are building
and leaves others open?

Thanks,

Richard Stephens

in principle yes, but then the document needs to be opened first using
pdfopen which then gives an annoying message
