That's ok. It sounds very similar to the .ttc format, and we already
have an interface for that. It will be pretty straightforward to
import the wrapper reader for .dfont disk files into luatex, so you
can expect the wrapper format to be supported within the next month,
not a big deal.

This can be a problem, but we'll find that out soon enough. I'll
work out some basics with Arthur and get back to you and Andrea
after that.
