Hi.

I just updated mpost.dll (1.110) from the windows minimals, but the
*empty line* in the temporary ps file still remains and breaks
compilation. Mkiv works fine with the same example.

Can you double-check the version number please? There is a 1.110
in the repository but it is not supposed to be used. The current
version is/should be 1.091. This is nothing you can do about, but

I would also like to have anzeige-mpgraph.mp, for ease of debugging.
(1.091 will have the same problem as 1.110)

I don't know it for sure, but I bet that Akira uses the latest svn
version in his W32TeX.

He offers two branches for LuaTeX and XeTeX. If any other components
are critical as well (I did not hear about any "too new version"
problem until now), maybe one needs to ask Akira about splitting those
libraries as well.
Metapost is part of the "big package" with all the possible binaries
(including kpathsea and pdftex) and changes every few days on average.

... in case that the latest version is indeed problematic, otherwise I
would not try to give him extra work.

todays and yesterdays version are both v1.110 (but different builds).
prior version was v1.091.
