inclusion of pdf figures

inclusion of pdf figures

Excuse me if this has been reported before, but I couldn't find  
anything in the archive: has inclusion of pdf figures been broken in  
mkiv for longer or just in the most recent release? This works in mkii  
and fails in mkiv:

\starttext

\externalfigure[~/context/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/sample/cow] 
[type=pdf,width=5cm]

\stoptext

it's luatex itself, hartmut is working on it right now so expect a new 
version after the weekend
