LuaTeX and xpdf

LuaTeX and xpdf

Hi LuaTeX developers,

LuaTeX after (including) Id: luatex.web 2366 2009-05-03 08:06:14 has a
problem with pdf inclusion.
I get an error:

This is LuaTeX, Version beta-0.40.0-2009050518 (Web2C 7.5.7)
 \write18 enabled.
...
mplib           : loading 'metafun.mp' from
'C:/contextminimal/texmf-cache/luatex-cache/context/28feea729d47a604679d2be4cb698c93/formats/cont-en-metafun.mem'

!LuaTeX error: xpdf: reading PDF image failed
 ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced!

After switching back to  LuaTeX, Version beta-0.40.0-2009042920 (Web2C
7.5.7)

(btw with very nice format generating on the fly!!!)

all works as expected.

The metafun format has nothing to do with pdf inclusion, but there
was a patch applied to the embedded xpdf code, and that could be the
cause. But nothing seems amiss here on my machine, so some extra
information is needed to check this.

A minimal input file, the image it is/was referencing, and your
computer platform are all important things to know.
