but no longer defined.

yep! seems to be used with tooltips, as the attached example breaks with 
the same error.

there were a couple of more issues with fields (and probably some more 
are left)

you can test the beta

ps. there are also a few issues related to javascript but that needs 
some thinking (cleaner but not completely mkii compatible)
