they run ok here, so maybe it's a config problem indeed; a few manuals may 
pose problems in acro 5 (start up message) but should view ok
(these will be regenerated with the latest acro 5 safe pdftex).

Only files with transparencies may fail on acro 4, but there are not many 
of them.
