Ahoi!
How one can scale fonts that they fit together is clearly documented.
But how can I stretch a font?
I look for something like
\definefont[myfamily][tt][mono][courier][default][vscale=1.2,encoding=\defaultencoding]
^^^^^^^^^^
(Courier has a tiny x-height but runs very wide...)

Since this kind of scaling does not really spoil the par break, i imagine
that we can tweak the vertical font scaling; (this can be done by raw pdf
code, but crossing pages ...)
Another option is to misuse hz and play with negative expansion.
