Hello,

I was wondering, if there is any simple command or option that would
allow creation of an automatic slideshow, by displaying pages and/or
overlays for a specified time? This could probably be done with
JavaScript, but maybe there's a ConTeXt way to do it.

Another, quite different, problem with iso-latin2 encoded source
files: following the procedure outlined in mtexexec.pdf I wasn't able
to get proper characters nor hyphenation. I tried to include
information about encoding both in the file itself and on the command
line, but in vain. In the end I got all Polish characters when I
converted the file to TeX encoding, but still there's no Polish
hyphenation.

All Best

Piotr

\setupinteractionscreen[option=max,delay=2]
\setupinteraction[state=start]
\setuppagetransitions[random]

should do the job

page transitions are broken in acro 5 (and/or depend on preferences)

(while testing this i found out that my version does a wrong reset (i moved
around some resources code); after correcting this: acro 4 works, acro 5
only first page, acroreader 5 nothing)

can you fetch the latest beta, there has been some corrections to pl
encodings and polish patterns are loaded twice (pl and ec encoding)

[does the log report polish patterns as being loaded?]
