* ConTeXt presentation: Lucida Bright font missing! @ 2002-04-16 14:13 g.verhaag 2002-04-16 18:41 ` Hans Hagen [not found] ` <20020423133435.A7545@iglu.localnet> 0 siblings, 2 replies; 6+ messages in thread From: g.verhaag @ 2002-04-16 14:13 UTC (permalink / raw) Hoi, By the way problem with running texexec solved! Well not really, because I installed everything new from Tex Live (6b) as suggested by Hans. Now everything is running again! I wanted to try making a presentation using ConTeXt, and started as described in the "TeX as presentation tool" by Hans Hagen. Well my system keeps complaining about missing lbr fonts. It is suggested to switch to PostScript fonts by putting the \definefilesynonym [font-lbr] [font-pos] line in a cont-sys.tex file, in case the Lucida Bright fonts are missing. Okay, but my system doesn't have such a file. In case I've to create one, where does it go? Am I right in saying that the Lucida Bright fonts are not available from the TeX-Live CD? They are probably not available for free, are they? Regards, Geert Verhaag ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 6+ messages in thread

Is this thing meant to be viewed embeded in a browser? are there files missing that is should also download, etc? -- flip phillips phd http://www.skidmore.edu/~flip/ ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 6+ messages in thread

Sadly, since, in some cases, the only links to some of the files are in the PDF files it means going through them and manually doing the wget. I did a recursive wget -r -A.pdf ... and got eveything that is linked to... but the show-*.pdf files aren't linked from anywhere but in the PDF. I noticed a seeming set of broken links in the present demos... mainly those that look like they should be in general/source/s-pre-* In show-pre.pdf all of the 'listing' links point to PDFs in general/sources, but alas, I don't see them: % wget http://www.pragma-ade.com/sources/s-pre-03.pdf --22:20:23-- http://www.pragma-ade.com/sources/s-pre-03.pdf => `s-pre-03.pdf' Resolving www.pragma-ade.com... done. Connecting to www.pragma-ade.com[194.109.142.138]:80... connected. HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found 22:20:23 ERROR 404: Not Found. I'll let you know if I find others... -- flip phillips http://www.skidmore.edu/~flip/ ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 6+ messages in thread
