Hi All,

I uploaded a new beta version. I will promote this version to a main one in
a few days. This version will go on the next tex live as well.

There are a couple of bugs fixed, as well as some new features and/or low
level changes that permit new features.

The encoding vectors are updated, thanks to input from patrick. I took the
change to clean up a some more in that area too. I hope that things will work.

Also, for berry font name lovers, you can now say (for instance in your
local cont-sys.tex)

   \usetypescript[berry][ec]

and get some of the free fonts on tex live without texfont generation.

If for some reason glyphs are missing in ec, you may give \useencoding[ecm]
a try.

Also, there is now support for french (with its active : ; ? !); because
this demands that : is handled well in the tuo file, refeneces, mp
graphics, javascripts etc etc, and since i cannot test it all now, for the
moment the trick is:

   \useencoding[ffr] % evt: \useregime[il1] (untested)

(actually, i would like to change the german " default, so that one has to
explicitly enable this feature with \useencoding[fde])

As far as i can see/test, mixing languages works ok with these active
thingies, although i still have to find a way to let tocs adapt themselves.

Other new features, like bleeding and so, will be discribed in
'details.pdf', a new manual to be

Hans
