Hi all,

I am thinking about something like:

\setuppapersize[A4][A4,landscape]
\setuparranging[2UP,scaled...?]

or this in another form of description, where result will contain 2UP
arranged pages scaled down to fit desired destination A4,landscape.

Exists something like this? Normal arranging (as far as I know) assumes
"growing" page size -- e.g. two A4 on A3, etc., so scaling could maybe be
useful (at least for me :-),

hm, could probably be done, but is kind of tricky since the real page 
dimensions play a role in many places

tere's always:

   texexec --pdfarr --paper=A5xA4 --print=2UP yourA4file
