Hello,
In 23.08.2002 ConTeXt processing of DOCTYPE changed (I've found a patch? in
cont-new.tex), which leads to errors in my XMLs -- TeX reports "the par
ended before parameter is read".
After I commented the patch in cont_new.tex my document are compiled OK :-)
Martin

I have simple one (it is the one which failed):
<!DOCTYPE carioca_document PUBLIC "-//CARIOCA//DTD CARIOCA XML V1.0.0//EN"
"file:///c:/carioca documents/carioca-doc.dtd">
I did not search where the problem can be (why parameter overrun), so I have
not more infos. If you will need it, I collect some,
Martin

has to do with optional [ ]> so let's nil the patch in cont-new.tex
(why o why is this part of xml so messy)

Some example:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<!DOCTYPE root [
<!ELEMENT root EMPTY>
<!ELEMENT other (a, b?, c*, d+)>
<!ATTLIST root version CDATA #REQUIRED>
<!ENTITY filename SYSTEM "myfile.e" NDATA gif>
<!NOTATION gif SYSTEM "gimp">
]>
<?myinstruction mydata?>
<!-- yes, this is XML -->
<root version="1.0" xmlns:root="http://www.w3.org/2000/10/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="root.xsd">Hello World!</root>
