the best way is to map docbook things onto configurable context commands 
(i'll something like that with tei); once the docbook module is ready for 
such an overhaul, i'll look into it. [this is normally the way we map xml 
to tex; it gives you reasonable defaults, but complete configurability; 
time ...]
