Latest beta killed cross-referencing?

Hello,

I just downloaded the latest beta --and it seems it won't generate
cross refs anymore.

I found the culprit --the changes in syst-ext; restoring the
previous one seems to solve everything.

BTW, the math stuff seems to be fixed, thanks Hans :)

i just found out while generating a test doc with utf comments (pdf notes);

uploading a new beta now;

this one is also prepared for utf notes, bookmarks will come later (the 
adobe unicode fonts that come with acrobat are not complete

utf-16, so i need to convert to that; works ok for notes now
