Oops, sorry, I must have missed this! But I can't get it working. After 
adding

\setupreferencing[autofile=yes]
\setupinteraction[state=start]

to all components, compiling single components fails with

! LuaTeX error

is nil
stack traceback:

Any idea what this might mean?
