I uploaded a new beta to the website. Btw, you can best test this kind 
of stuff with:

\starttext

\setvariables
   [otftracker]
   [direction=-1,
    sample=لا,
    title=Test,
  % font=file:arabtype,
    font=file:scheherazaderegot,
    features=arabic]

\stoptext

As it shows the steps.
