Dear list,
I have the following sample:
\starttext
{\asciimode It works in body%.}\footnote{But not in footnotes
{\asciimode %}.}
\stoptext
I’m afraid \asciimode cannot be included within a footnote.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?
Many thanks for your help,
Pablo

You have to enable ascii mode before you write the footnote.
\asciimode
\starttext
It works in body%.
\footnote{But not in footnotes %.}
\stoptext
