I wanted to change character sizes in a letter head but the \tfa...
macro doesn't work.
Here is a minimum example See how the letter head does not give larger
fonts as requested with the \tfc{....} command. See the difference
with the table in the body of the letter.

Try {\tfa …} instead \tfa{…}
