I want=20 \startfrontmatter to trigger a background image, but I can only get this to appear if I use page=3Dyes (see example below).

However, I=20 don=E2=80=99t want any page break between the front-matter and body-matte= r. If I use page=3Dno (as in the line commented out) this page break disappears = =E2=80=94 but so does the background image!

How can I get the background=20 behind the page where the front-matter text appears, but with no page=20 break before the body-matter?
Set the page background outside of the sectionblock.
