Do you use Minion Math?

Does this work (untested)?
\definefontfamily[inlinemath][mode=base,lnum=yes] % tnum=yes etc.
\definefontfamily[…][mm][…][tf=features:inlinemath]
BTW: You can list all features of a font with "mtxrun --script fonts
--list --info <fontname>".
