I haven't found how both of the latter commands works though.
Any hints would be most welcome.
Thanks,

Hi,
Speaking of paths...
(1) What's ConTeXt's default path search depth ? Can it be modified and if
so how ?
(2) Still clueless about how to use usepath and usesubpath. Where are these
documented ?

Use the mail archive, this was answered a few times in the past.

Hi Wolfgang,
I did that already (some goes back to 2003) and didn't found any relavant
information, only some general stuff like "use usepath and/or usesubpath"
and "path search depth can be configured". Isn't very useful.
>From grepping the source code I found some reference to luatex code, which
isn't my cup of tea.
I'm sure other people on this list would also welcome these commands being
properly documented.
Best,
Alan

Wirklich?
Daran bin ich auch gescheitert... Es gibt nur Verweise, aber keine
wirkliche Erklärung/Beispiele.
Deswegen habe ich mich ja neulich auch mit "Frage zu \usesubpath" an
Dich gewandt.

Pressing "Reply" sometimes goes faster than checking the receivers
adress ;o)
Obviously, this should have been adressed to Wolfgang personally,
apologies for spoiling the list with non-international postings!
Nevertheless, Wolfgang received my appeal and tries to write a summary
on this \use(sub)path issue (plus example) for the wiki.
Stay tuned!

just \usepath[a,a/b,a/../x] and \usesubpath[graphics] etc
subpaths are combined with paths
on top of that context searched in . .. ../..
