[I don't understand \dimexpr.   For instance 7cm =3D ~198pt, 0.9 = * 7 cm =3D ~179pt, but \dimexpr0.9\framedparameter{width} yields 27.59= 92pt.  It doesn't seem to work well with decimals.  No wiki page = for it, that I can find.]
