This looks good.

hmm, it works fine here (texlive 7, almost current ConTeXt, MacOS X)

the beginning would be interesting. What ConTeXt version? What
TeX-system?

hmm strange, why does ConTeXt need math fonts here? And why is ConTeXt
using pxr? Isn't this outdated? And now replaced with mathpazo?

IMO ConTeXt :)
workaround: install px fonts.

TeXExec 3.2 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1997-2003

(./f.tex{/var/lib/texmf/pdftex/config/pdftex.cfg}
ConTeXt ver: 2003.4.22 fmt: 2003.5.13 int: english mes: english

I installed px fonts and if I setup "ec" as default encoding I get the following warning:
Warning: pdfetex (file ectt1000): Font ectt1000 at 774 not found
{/usr/share/texmf/dvips/base/8r.enc}</usr/share/texmf/fonts/type1/urw/palatino/
uplr8a.pfb>
and Acrobat Reader complains ("error processing page .. (14).
However, if I select "8r" as default encoding, everything is fine.
So, at least I have soem starting point for further investigation this weird land of
fonts :-)
Thank you for your input.
Sincerely,
Gour
