Generally no. But if you are using MacTeX, you *really* need to
upgrade at least once.

I added the instructions to
http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Running_Mark_IV#Updating_ConTeXt, though
I think that upgrading instructions belong elsewhere. Feel free to
move them to a more appropriate place.
