Hello,

The new server on contextgarden.net has a newer linux distribution and
64-bit kernel. I used to compile the linux binaries on the server
since they worked everywhere, also on newer machines (I once wrote a
note "compiled with glibc 2.3.6" and maybe the kernel was
2.4.something; it was debian etch).

The vice versa doesn't hold - if we compile the binaries on some newer
machine, they won't work on older linuxes. So I have two questions:
- Are there still users with old linux distributions using the minimals?
- And if yes - any volunteer to compile the binaries on regular basis?
(The releases of new luatex are the most critical ones. Other binaries
can usually wait longer.)

You may write me off-list.

Mojca
