The reason was very weird: we wanted to be early adopters, so we were
syncing from GUST even before the latest version of fonts became
available to CTAN.

But once the fonts became available on CTAN, I forgot to switch from
"the latest zip" back to CTAN, so even when a new version came out
months later, we kept syncing from that "latest version zip".

The latest version should be online now. I hope.
