Sorry to be a PITA, but could you fix references to items as well?
They don't work either in mkiv:

\starttext

\startitemize[n]
\item[one] One
\item Two
\stopitemize

In item \in[one].

\stoptext

(Works in mkii, but not in mkiv)

All best

Thomas
