This can be done more efficiently (and maybe even possible in
your version): 

\startuniqueMPgraphic{...}
  ...
\stopuniqueMPgraphic

....

\uniqueMPgraphic{...}

The new metafun manual will explain this [and other new tricks]
in more detail.

You may want to use texexec from the latest distribution
although proper use of \starttext ... \stoptext should handle
this.

Hi,

I have a problem about inline metapost definition.  Here's a snippet:

\def\MPlogo#1#2{%

    pickup pencircle scaled bl;

ll and bl are counted from #1 and #2.

Everytime when I run texexec (the first line is % interface=english
output=pdftex paper=a4 pdf mptex), it stops at mpost with a * prompt saying
'type end' or similar.  Of course it generates mpoutput.1 but it doesn't
included.

I tried it with my old configuration (teTeX 1.0.6) and it works OK, but not
with 1.0.7.

In the rare case that this happens [should not happen] you may try to add
\flushMPgraphics before \stoptext.
