Is there a way to have two different styles of typing. I tried the
following, but it does not seem to work.

\setuptyping[abc][style=\ttx]
\setuptyping[def][style=\ttxx]

\starttext

\starttyping[abc]

\stoptyping

\starttyping[def]

\stoptyping

\stoptext

Thanks
Jeroen

Use \definetyping (and \start<name>..\stop<name>) instead so:

\definetyping[abc][style=\ttx]
\definetyping[def][style=\ttxx]

\starttext

\startabc
example

\stopabc

\startdef
example
example
\stopdef

\stoptext

Probably best to capitalise Abc & Def as well just in case you choose a name that is already in use.
