Today Erik Frambach helped me figure out the following problem: When I used DVISCR to view a ConTeXt file that was compiled with PDFtex, I couldn't see accents on letters. DVIPS printed successful accents though, working from the same DVI file (the latter thanks to help by Taco Hoekwater). The solution was: since DVIPS uses the "texnansi.enc" encoding file, DVISCR should be able to get the same information. This was done by me by simply copying the command "-etexnansi.enc" in the PSFONTS.INF file, like this: tnr -etexnansi.enc -atnr.afm tnr.pfb tnri -etexnansi.enc -atnri.afm tnri.pfb tnru -etexnansi.enc -atnri.afm -S-0.3 tnri.pfb tnro -etexnansi.enc -atnr.afm -S0.167 tnr.pfb tnrb -etexnansi.enc -atnrb.afm tnrb.pfb tnrbi -etexnansi.enc -atnrbi.afm tnrbi.pfb tnrbu -etexnansi.enc -atnrbi.afm -S-0.3 tnrbi.pfb tnrbo -etexnansi.enc -atnrb.afm -S0.167 tnrb.pfb tnrbx -etexnansi.enc -atnrb.afm -E1.2 tnrb.pfb tnrbix -etexnansi.enc -atnrbi.afm -E1.2 tnrbi.pfb tnrbux -etexnansi.enc -atnrbi.afm -S-0.3 -E1.2 tnrbi.pfb tnrbox -etexnansi.enc -atnrb.afm -S0.167 -E1.2 tnrb.pfb tnre -etexnansi.enc -atnrexp.afm tnrexp.pfb tnrei -etexnansi.enc -atnrexpi.afm tnrexpi.pfb tnreu -etexnansi.enc -atnrexpi.afm -S-0.3 tnrexpi.pfb tnreo -etexnansi.enc -atnrexp.afm -S0.167 tnrexp.pfb tnreoo -etexnansi.enc -atnrexp.afm -S0.3 tnrexp.pfb tnrexp -etexnansi.enc -atnrexp.afm tnrexp.pfb Note: I believe that some of the above are extensions to the font family which are only "swallowed" by my PS printer if and when I have DVIPS send the file with the -V siwtch, ie. as bitmaps. I maybe should take out these extensions to be able to send better PS files to remote printers. Met hartelijke groet!
