The following combination of itemize and starttabulate is numbered from 'd. to f.' instead of from 'a. to c.'

I'm unable to figure out why this occurs and also how to get the following desired result:
a. 	tekst		tekst
b.	tekst		tekst
c.	tekst		tekst
