Thanks a lot for the example. It works great in most cases, however = what I stumbled upon is with the interval notation, in particular the fol= lowing cases arise:

- closed interval: easy, since the delimiters are =5B... ; ... =5D
- open interval: not easy, since the delimiters are =5D... ; ... =5B= (or with a parenthesis as in the US, but there it works)

- semi open interval: not easy, since the delimiters are either =5B.= .. ; ... =5B or =5D... ; ...=5D (or in the US =5B...; ...) or (... ; ...=5D= )

I guess there is a need for a special definition for these. Maybe th= ey're already in the works...

By the way, if I define in the preamble =5Cautofences, is there a co= mmand to disable it locally=3F Would be very helpful to deal with the abo= ve situations.
