I have no idea if this is at all relevant, but:

(1) shouldn't m-gamma be loaded by \usemodule[gamma] ? (This will
unlikely change things at all)

(2) if I recall correctly, the best way to set up new typescript
files is by use of

\usetypescriptfile[type-omg]

This *might* help.

(And no, I didn't run either your tests nor those with the
correction)
