Hello All,

I've recently moved most of my context.el macro's to the existing
ConTeXt support in AUCTEX:

  http://www.gnu.org/software/auctex/

And added new goodies such as selecting an environment from the menu
or a setup command. Makes writing ConTeXt even easier for beginners.

This is beta quality, it won't destroy your documents, but it might
not work perfect either. You need to check out the CVS AUCTEX to give
it a try.

I'm looking for feedback from users, so comments please.

I'm also looking for good suggestions how to specify parameters for
ConTeXt macro's within Emacs. We have complete access to a macro's
parameter list including allowed values, but I struggle a bit how to
make that available in Emacs. Perhaps people here now other packages
that solve these problems? It's quite a generic easy: show parameters
for a routine and permitted values.

Berend,

this is VERY good news for those of us who use Emacs with ConTeXt, and
I'm very much looking forward to using it! My question, thought, before
I start: how does your ConTeXt support behave in relation to the
modules Patrick has already integrated into AUCTEX? Do the two packages
integrate, or are they mutually exclusive?

Thanks for your work, and best wishes

Thomas

I built on Patrick's excellent work. So just enhanced it with some of
the stuff I had in my other mode.
