Thanks for your time and trouble!.

I had found  \defineseparatorset[none][][]

with the same result: it oppresses the dots.


Yes, I want subitems to appear differently in the reference than they are in the listing:

1. item 1
	a subitem 
	b subitem
2. item 2
	a subitem
	b subitem

Desired result:

See item 1b and 2a.

Does anyone else know how to achieve this?
