Hi,

I  want to use sub page numbering in a document but I cannot get it to 
work.

I put these commands in my tex file:

\setupsubpagenumber[state=start]
\setupfootertexts[][Page \subpagenumber de \numberofsubpages]

\starttext
\part {Part 1}
.....
\part {Part 2}

I got this message on my console:
! Undefined control sequence.
<argument> Page {\subpagenumber
                                 } de \numberofsubpages {}{}{}

I'm using ConTeXt  ver: 2003.1.31  fmt: 2003.4.23  int: english  mes: 
english

Any clues will be appreciated!

BTW, is there any samples available of context source files?

Thank you,

I suggest you update the main documentation to reflect the correct  
commands for the sub page numbering. I found my commands on page 78 of  
the manual.

\subpagenumber should be \pagenumber
\numberofsubpages should be \nofsubpages
