But how much of a problem is that? I've used 1996 or so manual for years without trouble. Many stuff is optimized or improved throughout the years, but it's only this year that we've seen a real breaking change (the new font mechanism). In all cases you could take any manual you wish. For newer features there are quite clear up-to-date manuals. You have to study them of course. Add to that that TeX isn't easy. ConTeXt might have many problems (don't know which :-) ) but the documentation can't be one of them. Finding them could perhaps be made easier, why not just have a documentation button on the main screen which just lists *all* documentation, manuals, up-to-dates, beta's, whatever? -- Groetjes, Berend.
